Well... i agree. But the original was so muddy that this is definitly a step up.
Yeah graphics don't look that great, we can only hope they add something new and interesting (not lock behind the wolf link amiibo tho)

It's a dissapointing remaster. I don't need to play when I can see the graphical improvement is minimal, I just need screens as I only needed screens to judge the other 3 remasters of this gen. I don't need to play to know that the 2 new interesting additions are locked behind amiibos. |
To me that's a disappointing way of looking at things. Maybe you just weren't a big fan of TP in the first place, which is fine, but for me, I will need to experience it first hand to know if it's a disappointment or not. There are so many factors other than how much they improved the graphics. For example: How does it feel to play TP with the GamePad? How much will having the map on the GamePad change the experience? Any other gameplay/mechanical changes to the game?
I will need to know the answers to all these questions before I can judge how much of a disappointment TP:HD is/isn't.
Is the soundtrack getting remastered? I like WW's remade soundtrack.
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

When I first saw the trailer, the only place where I could see any difference was in Hyrule Field, and I'm fine with that level of improvement. I think some of the places look much better, and some have minor improvements, based on the screenshots.
Can't wait for The Zelder Scrolls 3: Breath of The Wild Hunt!
I always felt an HD remaster was impractical for Twilight Princess because of all the work that would be required. Well it turns out I was half-right. Thing is, this will still be the definitive version of this game when it comes along - I'm looking forward to it.
