Yahoooooo, a boring industry with 3 identycal consoles!!

Nintendo haveing a normal controller = boring industry? O_o?

I think it ll help nintendo overall, and might help them get 3rd party back... which would just be horrible for the industry right?

We're talking about the same thing, ur just refusing to believe that without gimmicks NES would have never been relevant in the US.

Dude.  This isn't hard.  The system itself is not dependent on a gimmick.  You take away ROB and the console still works.  How is it possible that you do not understand what I'm saying?  I do not know how to make this more simple for you.

The key word is "normal". What is a normal controller? I found the Wii U controller pretty normal.

controller was never a tablet. You expect them to stream things? It wouldn't be hardware.

U do realize NES was a gimmick controller, right? Look up the Coleco Vision, Intellivision, Atari 5200 controller, that's what a standard controller looked like pre-NES.

NES also had the Zapper & R.O.B., gimmick controllers are part of Nintendo's roots.

The d-pad was just a flattened joystick, fairly logical for a home controller and Nintendo was already using that on their Game & Watch devices, so I don't know if I'd say that was a "gimmick".

R.O.B. was definitely a gimmick, but who really bought an NES for R.O.B.? The Zapper kinda was too though at the time light gun shooters were fairly mainstream and popular in arcades so that kinda made sense.

NES, SNES, N64, GameCube were fairly standard traditional consoles.

At this point, I honestly don't care, but if Nintendo wants to be truly successful, something more traditional has to be done.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Why would anyone want a GameCube controller when this exists.

Just give it analog triggers and we're all good.

Nah, this one is better...

Pink is always good.

Streaming games? Eww, no.

^ this. I refuse to stream games to play them.

Any console maker brave enough to do so, will lose me as a customer.
If they all do... guess I ll end up a PC gamer.

No thanks. I don't want 3 similar consoles. Let Nintendo do their thing... just hope they deliver great games, that's all.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
