Dark Cloud 2 will launch for PlayStation 4 via PS2 emulation on January 19, the latest PlayStation Blogcast reveals.

The original Dark Cloud is already available on PlayStation 4. It’s worth noting that the two games aren’t connected story-wise, and the sequel is actually known as Dark Chronicle in Japan and Europe.

Also confirmed for launch next week is the PlayStation 4 version Croixleur Sigma from Playism and Souvenir, Circ. If you missed it, a new trailer came out yesterday. Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty for PS Vita will also debut as a cross-buy title, so if you already own the PlayStation 4 version, you’ll get the PS Vita version free.

The PS5 Exists.

I must confess that this is one of the few PS2 games I would love to see reworked in 1080p and widescreen on the PS4.

I just leaned back in my chair and threw my arms up in victory. My coworkers all looked at me in a weird way lol. For a long time this game stood as my all-time favorite game. Now it's tied with Dragon's Dogma and God of War II. I'll definitely be picking this one up. I wish it were today so I'd have it to play over the rainy Florida weekend.
