Forums - Gaming - Is this the best graphics in a driving game?

If you look at the last pic, it looks a LOT worse then GT5. Nice looking game, not the best looking however.

EDIT: the picture you linked is the one I am talking about. Look at the grill is the car on the left. Looks like crap. Also, it has a lot of aliasing issues.

The gameplay trailer is now in the OP. Guys view it. The new best graphics driving game is here. IT topples both GT5 and Forza 2. That arguement is now closed.

The images dont look realistic. Its got that cartoony look. It looks good no doubt, but you cant say it looks better than GT5. As far as simulating real life, GT5 is better than this game graphically. If you want a Burnout Paradise, street racing type of game this game does look amazing. Its just not true to life.

Please tell me you viewed the video? Did you see the cockpit mode? and the crash emulation. Jesus.

Judging a game base on graphics alone???

I never quoted that makes the best game. And if Lair averaged over 10 fps it would look great. LOlNothing wrong with being impressed by technology.

Doesn't come close to GT5.

Look I think it close

Some of you apperently would say GT5 is graphicly better then the movie Cars because GT 5 strives for realism.

"Back off, man. I'm a scientist."

Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist. Especially if you think the moon landing was faked.

I watched the video in full HD. Looks really good. I think the reason I find GT5 better looking is there was not a scene where I didn't think I was looking at a video game. In GT5, that happens all the time.

Graphics were pretty good

Pic is good, but not GT5 good. I will never pick up either game anyway, so I don't really care.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Not even close. Except for the crashes. Those are very nice.
