Well I already pointed out earlier that the original X-Box went out of production in August 2005 plus the Wii went out of proudction in 2013 although it looks like the Wii Mini might still be in production.

It's OK, I wasn't aiming it at you. I think the Wii mini is still in production so that still counts. I'll check out the Xbox info, help with sources could help.

I just found this on wiki, I might have to change it. Sorry NES.

"As of 2015, the Master System is the longest-lived game console (30 years and continuing), due to its popularity in Brazil."

The thing still sells here official numbers as if it was a current generation system.

Sanic is king here!

I now understand why you're so fucked up.

Cool list.

I could be wrong but I seem to remember Neo Geo getting software support for longer than that even though the hardware was discontinued in 2007.

Do you mean 1997?

Anyway the list is strictly years of production for the hardware.

Got it from wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_%28console%29

First sentence in the discountinuation and successor article.  The partnership between MS and Nvida went sour pretty soon they where already in disagreement over pricing of the GPU in 2002.

Nice find. On the right is says discontinued 2009 but they are referring to out of warranty support. I will update!

You might want to add 5 additional years to NES and SNES. According to this PDF from Nintendo sales of these consoles only did really end in 2008, even though in the last years they didn't crack the 10k sales, thus showing up as a 0:

Edit: and N64 apparently until 2007
