Looks like Earthbound x DQ IMO.

Well in earthbound you use everyday things to fight with, it looks like you do the same in that opoona game. It is also different than most rpgs.

its a rent for me

I am not planning to play Opoona, the graphics and soundtrack are the only good things about the game according to Game Informer

lol at listening to GI
Still...it was a 5.5/10. That's pretty low. Nintendo Power gave it a 7 which isn't that good either, and that's a Nintendo specific publication. Considering how Famitsu scores a lot of KOEI game unnecessarily high, I think it was an inflated score and nothing more. Kessen 3 scored 37 and Dynasty Warriors 2, 3, and 4 scored 36 each. In comparison, one of your favorite games, Tales of Symphonia only scored a 34. Yes we are talking about a publication that thought three nearly identical hack n slash borefests were superior to one of the best RPGs of the last generation of consoles. Think about that before you believe in Famitsu's scores.
