Ahh ok well atleast you get an amiibo with your DLC. That's something I guess.

its not DLC. its content hidden behind a paywall thats called Amiibo.

how is it hidden behind a paywall when the amiibo is given to you inside the package itself?

because they jacked up the price of the remaster to a full 60$. too expensive for a remaster of a 10 year old game.

and does the content come in the digital version of the game?

can you even get the standalone version of the game? im sorry, i thought it was only available in the bundle (unless you buy used of course).

as far as pricing goes, i remember that the last of us "remastered" cost 60 dollars when it came out. do you think that was overpriced too?

The entire disc is content behind a paywall. Let's bitch about having to pay for games.

This is added content, nothing was locked from the main game. I don't see the problem with paying for extra content. In fact, this added content will also add content to Zelda U through the amiibo so you have twice the joy. This thread is going to be especially funny when it turns out this dungeon is also unlockable through in-game means one way or the other like a lot of other amiibo content, but we'll see.

Why am i not surprised that some are defending this shady practice?

So you get a free amiibo and bonus dungeon with a physical copy of the game and people are bitching about this?

I don't get it.

I wouldn't call it free. Nintendo has priced remaster for wii u at $50. No reason to think this one wouldn't follow. So no, your not getting a free amiibo.

Shrug. I guess it's a difference in semantics. If the game's price is what I already expected to pay, and I get an amiibo no extra charge I would consider the amiibo free.

And to anyone complaining that it doesn't come with the digital copy, Nintendo isn't forcing you to buy digital. There's nothing weird about a bonus (which this content clearly is, given that it wasn't part of the original game) coming with the physical copies only.

LOLOL! I was thinking the same thing after reading some of the comments here. People are like "stupid Nintendo, locking away their games behind a paywall that is the game disc!"
