Interesting.

Well, it's not that surprising. FF games sell better on PlayStation devices, and with JRPGs not being that popular in XBox consoles, it seems reasonable.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

If you like JRPGs, you bought a PS4 instead of an Xbox One. It's simple.

bet: lost

I would be surprised if that weren't happen.

Not surprising.

But, what was surprising was when Square Enix didn't know why FFXIII etc sold more on PS3 when all the marketing was done on Xbox 360. Only Square Enix would be clueless.

honestly it's pretty much an exclusive game for ps, sales and the boost for it
honestly sony doesnt need to ever pay for exlcusivity for Japan centric games

Not surprising at all, especially with the PS4 lead. SE didn't anticipate that when they announced FF15 and KH3 for Xbox One.

If the sales are the same, it will impact other games like FF7R (well, DQ11 and KH2.8 are impacted already...).

Well when one system has all the JRPG's and the other has next to none then it's hardly surprising, especially when the system that gets less and less of them cannot run them at a decent level and that of course is going to factor in who buys what system and of course that puts X1 at a huge disadvantage which is why I still think going with lesser more expensive hw is forever going to bite them for the remainder of the gen.

That said SE shouldn't bet on just one horse in this entire industry.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
