 Well metroid was un-Japanese-itzed when given to retro so now it is re-japanese-itzed if it is giving to Monolith Soft, then if giving back to retro it will be re-un-japanese-itzed. Lol

It is. The new one is original.

 No it isn't the last in the series. It is the last in the METROID PRIME miniseries.

Metroid PRIME. It's the PRIME trilogy that finished, not the actual Metroid series.
Maybe the next Metroid can be a trilogy of Metroid ALPHA or Metroid OMEGA or Metroid NEXT GENERATION. Who knows?
