Oh the drama. I'm just saying 60fps should be everyone's preference because its factually better from a gameplay pov. Its also a fact that not everyone cares about having the best gameplay. It's just how life is.

Developers choose to release 30fps games for higher fidelity. I'm not saying to not buy games cause we all enjoy games and the fact of the matter is that we will end up buying regardless because we don't have a choice. We usually don't even have a say on it, but we can certainly leave the feedback so we can have better gameplay experiences in the future, or at least a choice, because atm we are force fed the 30fps, and that just isn't right.

The market gets what it wants... it's no drama, is you trying to force your preference on others.

What a ridiculous thing to say, when the market isn't given a choice even. Lol at "preference" once more tough. If by preference, you mean a worse game, then sure, have it your way. Its no lie that the majority doesn't care, but again, doesn't mean they are right. Actually, they aren't even counsciously making a decision on it.

The difference here is that there are those that want games to be really good games and then theres those that just get what catches their fancy. You can't be telling i'm forcing my opinion, when its something that clearly offers the biggest benefit to a game. Because a game is about gameplay. A movie is about image, but a game isnt. But an image catches the fancy of a passerby more easily than the feel of the gameplay, wich has to be experienced.

You are saying to someone who is saying "this is what would make gamers better, and its an aquired fact" and say "that is your opinion". It's just like Sheldon's mom in big bang theory when he says that God and the bible have been scientifically disproven and she replies "and that is your opinion". No, its not. You choose to ignore it.

Mmmmm newp. As someone who purchased The Order day one and enjoyed the game, newp. Until Dawn is much better.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Eeehhh...for one, you're not using short sighted correctly.

Besides that, would Halo or Forza be worse at 30 fps? Yeah. Would Fallout 4 or The Witcher be worse at 60 fps? Yeah, probably.

Games like that are largely about their scope and how alive there world feels. The kind of sacrifices it would take to achieve that would hinder the developers efforts.

Also, the market is absolutely given a choice. You want 60 fps games? Stop buying 30 fps games. The market has a choice, it's just that the people who hold draconian views on fps don't have the fortitude to see it through.

Actually, if you are interested in games that focus on performance over visuals, try VR...oh, wait...

Ok, I'll drop the discussion with you.

What is your car and why did you bought it? Does it have the better driveability between all cars?

The Order is indeed a visual masterpiece. I haven't played Until Dawn.

I see you've played Riptide, Would you recommend it? I keep coming across it on PSN but the 12 quid price tage seems a bit much. Is it any good?

No I would not, very basic, not particularly exciting. I thought the music was good.

It was very cheap in the PSN January sale (2/3 quid-imo it's not worth more sadly).

Edit: Just seen your post about you liking mobile racers. I didn't know it was a mobile port but now you've said that, I can tell. It seems you know what you're in for, it's a shame you didn't notice it on sale.

PS, PS2, Gameboy Advance, PS3, PSP, PS4, Xbox One

Wow, speaking of being dramatic. Yeah, you have to quit gaming. Or, you know, play COD, or Halo, or Forza, or Fifa,  or Wolfenstein, or MGS:V, or like 90% of Nintendo games...

Remember, capitalism is like democracy, decisions are made by those who show up.

Skyrim with mods looks far better than this, still.

Definitely not. Even the best looking Skyrim mods don't.

umm, have you seen some of the newer mods with 4k texture packs?  Have you seen GTA5 mods?

They look far better than The Order and on a much larger scale.  Not talking about character models, obviously.

So you basically are saying that even at 4K it isn't really better? Ok, thanks.
