Oh the drama. I'm just saying 60fps should be everyone's preference because its factually better from a gameplay pov. Its also a fact that not everyone cares about having the best gameplay. It's just how life is.

Developers choose to release 30fps games for higher fidelity. I'm not saying to not buy games cause we all enjoy games and the fact of the matter is that we will end up buying regardless because we don't have a choice. We usually don't even have a say on it, but we can certainly leave the feedback so we can have better gameplay experiences in the future, or at least a choice, because atm we are force fed the 30fps, and that just isn't right.

The market gets what it wants... it's no drama, is you trying to force your preference on others.

What a ridiculous thing to say, when the market isn't given a choice even. Lol at "preference" once more tough. If by preference, you mean a worse game, then sure, have it your way. Its no lie that the majority doesn't care, but again, doesn't mean they are right. Actually, they aren't even counsciously making a decision on it.

Eeehhh...for one, you're not using short sighted correctly.

Besides that, would Halo or Forza be worse at 30 fps? Yeah. Would Fallout 4 or The Witcher be worse at 60 fps? Yeah, probably.

Games like that are largely about their scope and how alive there world feels. The kind of sacrifices it would take to achieve that would hinder the developers efforts.

Also, the market is absolutely given a choice. You want 60 fps games? Stop buying 30 fps games. The market has a choice, it's just that the people who hold draconian views on fps don't have the fortitude to see it through.

Actually, if you are interested in games that focus on performance over visuals, try VR...oh, wait...
