Fuck the TV show. Will not watch any more of it until both final books are out. They are what matter anyway. I can live without the series.

Given the differences already I view them increasingly as separate entites.  Characters have been removed (Aegon?), killed (Selmy), or changed dramatically (Sansa) effecting whole storylines.  I agree am more excited about Book 6, but fine with the show for what it is as it will never damage the source material for me.

Even if the probability of you seeing a spoiler are a mere 1 in a 1,000 for each day the new seasons are out... your chances of enduring it to the release of ADoS without being spoiled are very low. Probably less than 10%, in fact. Better to watch it than be pissed halfway through your blackout.

The book and the show are going to be more or less different, anyways, and personally I'd be a bit iffy that TWoW and ADoS are going to blow us away. Seems like Martin has more or less ran out of creative steam and little financial incentive to end his series.

Spring is coming!

Really excited for this, especially since it's going to be Winds of Winter material now.

I'm not interested in the show anymore. Not after last season. Its just too dark for my taste.

Wait, last season got too dark? What show have you been watching up to this point?

I feel you!! It's still an amazing show from an artistic-narrative perspective, almost perfectly executed but yeah, the level of realism can be kind of too much to take, it's fiction after all!! on the other hand you never know what to expect, so art and suspence combined make it a masterpiece (unlike the majority of modern series that lack inspiration)

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

If you are referring to that scene, then maybe you should know that higher ups intend to "level down" the "sexual violence" for future seasons.

I actually don't mind any of the writing in the past season though.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
