- earthquake of a magnitude of 5.1 has been registered near Punggye-ri, North Korea

- North Korea is believed to have conducted three underground nuclear tests since 2006, all at a site called Punggye-ri

- China, Japan and South Korea have said that there are indications pointing at a man-made tremor what hints to North Korea having carried out a nuclear test

- North Korean state media has said a "special, significant" announcement will be made shortly

NK would once again be insane to think they could take on the world much less the US without getting completely wiped clean off the map.

Also any sort of nuke war towards multiple countries ensures MAD and no one would win.

They've had nuclear weapons for over 30 years now so I doubt this news will change anything about them planning to wage a war ...

Just to add to that, the focal depth (depth where the quake happens) of this quake is at <1 km, so it could not be a natural quake.
