Hmm yeah, that is true. If there was an option to play Assassin's Creed but as Zero Suit Samus, or use Link or other chaarcters in Tekken Tag Tourney 2, I think I would be interested in getting those games. Though I dunno if those ports offered new extras in them...

Tekken Tag 2 offered a lot of extras for Wii U...still flopped. But i have a question, why do they NEED extras? Isnt it enough that they release the same time as others? Does a dev really have to add extra stuff to the version of a game that they know wont even get close to the sales of other versions?

Yeah, I noticed the extras on the Wii U version. I had considered getting it, but in the end decided not to. The extras were nice, but not enough to entice me to buy it.

I suppose it would be enough to release it as is if it did release at the same time as other games. However, a majority of the games released from 3rd parties were already available on other consoles some time before. There isn't much incentive to buy the game again on a different console, nor to wait for it. There's also the issue that the games were odd numbered installments that previous titles weren't even on the previous generation console.

So I think it would be good for them add more of an effort to gain the interest of this new base, or try a game entirely. Those would be good I think.

Ha ha ha. Naughty Dog is Sonys first party studio. Check the facts bro.

Good catch.  I Never owned a non-Nintendo console so I don't know much about 3rd and 1st Parties who develop for the systems that I don't play.

If third parties make games that aren't missing features, late, or overpriced, I think they can do well, not just certain ones, but generally all of them. With very few exceptions, wiiu 3rd party games were gimped by one or all of these things. If they pull the same crap, they can expect the same results.

i think it will take two generations before 3rd parties can be successful w nintendo again, and that's only if nintendo's willing to shell out some cash for the 3rd parties on the nx. No way any 3rd party titles sell to today's standard of success on the nx. Nintendo will need to compensate for that somehow. First nintendo has to become relevent again and restrengthen their brand, then they can get 3rd party success.
i really thought darksiders and bayonetta were good candidates at one time. obviously i was wrong. Maybe if darksiders 2 was a new game at the time. and maybe if bayonetta..... nope.... i got nothing. I think their brand is simply too damaged at present time.

This, i would say it would take 3 generations. People here act like Ninty home consoles not having goodo 3rd party is shocking it isnt, MOST of there home consoles have had meh to crap 3rd party. The last one to have good was SNES that was the 90s and thats gonna change all a sudden? nah
