It was a good game. But 1 & 2 were god-tier, so it was a disappointment.

Had I played MGSV this year, I think it may have been that. I was hyped for that game but the more I saw of it the more I didn't want to play it and now it's 2016 and I still haven't. That's what you get for sticking open world mission crap in my Metal Gear!

Fully expecting FFXV to be next year's disappointment too unless it turns out to be everything I had hoped Versus XIII would be.

Konami and Silent Hills would probably get my vote.

Metal Gear Solid V.
It makes me sad when I see something losses its soul. Good gameplay mechanics and all. But the world / story / characters... no emotions. That rush of excitement when I play is nowhere to be found.

2015 was a disappointment in general for me(in terms of gaming). Almost every hyped game ended up being not as good as people expected. Examples are Fallout, Batman, The Order, etc.


However, a disappointment I did have was realizing there's no more DLC coming for Smash and Mario Kart 8. I really hoped that Mario Kart would have 2 more DLC packs before being done with DLC.

1. Black Ops 3 launching with only 1 main Zombies map, I was really expecting more after Treyarch got 3 years to develop the game instead of the usual 2 years they got for their previous games.
2. Sony still not giving at least decent AAA games with PS+ on a regular basis. I'd take 1 decent AAA game once every 2 months at this point.

That 30fps lock, sure it got modded but the devs didn't patch it out or patch in a 60 option.
