When making a game, devs choose the artstyles first and then make the game with that artstyle in mind, typically  over the course of about three years. They don't say "hey realistic games will be all the rage 3 years from now, let's do that" they say "hey this works best for our game, let's work with it"

it shouldn't matter if there are 10 realistic games on the market or 1 million realistic games on the market, if a game calls for a realistic artstyle, then so be it, it doesn't mean it's any worse as a game.

you also seem to be convinced that everyone hates the wii u for some reason. Literally no one mentioned the wii u yet you try to portray it as the victim/object of hate. As someone else said, if this game goes on ps4, it'll still be a shitty ps4 game.

To be fair, you cant compare these people who developed this game with Nintendo!

They must had a super low budget and a tiny staff to make this game while Nintendo had everything, plus a blank check to make the most out of the Wii U capabilities with Star Fox.

When it was first revealed, the game did look like it needed some polishing.

And that's what Nintendo did. They delayed Star Fox and polished it, instead of releasing it on schedule and giving their fans an ugly game.
