Regardless of the name of the game, it is sure to be good anyway :D It looks like they took all of the comments made by the fans and gave them what they want, i just hope the online is just as much fun, if not more!

I like it. Its a hangover from films but I get twitchy when numbers are in the title and they keep climbing... I know in games it often means more refined, improved experience, but still...

This seems more of a franchise approach. Each iteration could have a different name - i.e. Motorstorm : location and it implies more than just the latest version but a somewhat different experience by locale.

I hope the average gamer isn't so lazy / idiotic they need a big number 2 to make things clear. Let them think for once!

I think thats exactly the problem that people see with not having a 2 there, the consumer would get confused... Shame that all people cant have the power of thought lol

Got Motorstorm with the PS3 and it was BORING. Beautiful but BORING. And that they didn't include a splitscreen multiplayer mode is downright inexcusable. But racing games aren't for me anyway.

On gamestop.com it has it listed as coming 10/28/08,hopefully with no delays
