Do MSoft really thinks people will upgrade to Win10 to play this game? For Gears of War maybe, but this one? C'mon.

I've been waiting for this since the launch of XB1. I should've known they would do something to fuck me.

Cross-buy confirmed. Updating to windows 10 imminent. I love the support ms is giving KI. Just when it looked Ike dead weight they announced s3 and an amiibo knock off. This kinda stuff makes the teenager in me come alive. Awesome!

Apparently they think doing this to all their late ports will somehow. I honestly don't understand this mentality and fans of 10 don't seem to understand this either because from my pov this is them refusing to support 7-8-8.1 users entirely in terms of PC gaming, unless you are using their store and their latest OS you are getting zip from them (besides Ori). I'm not really fond of how 10 performs and how it currently is and the chances of them changing this late into the game are very slim, to me this just comes off as strong arming, trying to twist my arm by making me think I'm getting a good deal when really I;m being told my current OS is SOL and that I'm hereby told to move to 10 or I'm SOL if I want to play games that easily do run on 7 and can along with an under-powered XB1. The fact every other dev out there that ports/makes games for PC that heavily support 7-8-8.1 amazes me because it shows that they are willing to keep supporting what MS refuses to along with generally selling more software (which is supposed to be MS one and only goal with PC gaming and yet they severely restrict it).

I'd definitely buy said games if they were made available on the likes of Steam, GoG along with other clients/stores and 7-8.1 support, until then no dice.

I honestly don't get it either, I mean Steam supports Mac, Linux and multiple Windows OS's along with a bit of console support, all the other companies support multiple OS's and even clients on PC, hell Sony technically supports the other OS's with some of their supported titles that go to the likes of Steam. MS is the only one in this entire race that's actively trying to set an extreme tight limit on who can play what game and where it goes to and honestly that's not even logical when they should be aiming to support  more bases to earn the most money from and 10 isn't magically going to be the god ender, the OS that ends all OS's and has like 99% population of the world, it's never going to end up like that so they should stop trying to dream (while trying to act on it) and think that will be the outcome to support their illogical actions.

Also as a PC gamer who's looked back on history, MS has fucked up with the platform for a number of years and times, they aren't winning this console gen and trying to think they can dictate what PC gamers buy or play on really shouldn't be a thing, beggars can't be choosers and they ditched a whole userbase for yonks. You don't just come back and order them on what to go with. The whole Windows store and 10 only screams GFWL 2.0, they claimed they weren't going to compete agaisnt Steam and yet they set up a store and decide to not release towards Steam at the same time, their very goal is clearly to create their own closed off eco system that they can dictate and control entirely which essentially is them competing directly with Steam regardless of what angle you could go with.

No matter how you look at it more KI is a good thing.
