PR plays a big role in X1 losing to PS4; X1's PR has been shit while PS4's has been excellent.

I bought what I wanted to buy. I don't control the majority of the planet. If I could I would have made them all buy Bayonetta 2 and XCX, and Captain Toad and every other Wii U exclusive. But I don't. So I buy what I want. I did maximize the profit margins for them by buying digital. That is all I can do within my power.

Sony didn't do anything "for the players", that's just marketing PR. As far as Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft are concerned, we are just walking wallets. Sony only took a loss on PS3 early on cos they thought they'd make their money back on games sales, on hardware once manufacturing costs dropped, and by trojan horsing Blu Ray players into people's living rooms. There was nothing altruistic about it.

yeah but some companys are more greedy and unrestrained than others.
Not only have you payed for online but Xbox Live hasnt even offered free games at all during the 360 era and it was needed to use youtube and other services.
I much rather live during a generation where Sony wins rather than MS, and yes they won last gen the 360 sold more software than the Wii. Under Sony games get like FF7, Last Guardian, Shenmue 3, a new Castlevania, aNew Megaman, Bloodborne, Kojimas new game are being made and revived. This generation is allready better than last gen which was complete trash last gen.
How the hell will the post exactly help anyone? It just seems like a waste of time to post onto the site. Look, new IP's do need support in terms of sales, but this post just seems kinda crude and rushed.
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
