Strictly speaking it is a new IP. It's a spritual succesor to SSARPBC though, but it still counts as a new IP. Sorta like Bloodborne and Souls.

It pretty much lost the status as spiritual successor when they included a lot of assets from the previous game. It's a sequel.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Quirky, slick, and shows that Nintendo still has what it takes to create classic new franchises.

Splatatatatata.... um, Splatoon. I won't consider BB as a contender since in my mind DeS/DS/BB are from the same series (the "Souls" series). But if I would consider, then I would place it tied to Splatoon at numbers 1.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
