Honestly... no.

2DS has not released in Japan yet. And when it does, it will be transperent/colored as a tribute to the Game Boy Color and with Pokémon Red/Green/Yellow installed and with Mew as a downloadable. That's gonna be a huge boost on the 3DS family sales.

Also, we have to see what Nintendo has prepared for the 25th aniversary of Pokémon. If it is either Pokémon Z or the seventh generation, that's another huge boost on hardware sales.

Probably not, Nintendo is forcasting 7.6 million this fiscal year which would put the total to roughly 60 million. 65 million at the end of next fiscal year with a total of about 70 million is possible.

Nope. It'll end around 65M-70M I think. Which makes it the worst selling Nintendo HH. And all the competition is coming from smartphones and tablets, not Sony. I really think Nintendo should be refocusing on the HH market, growing it's empire back up. Not combining what it's good at with what it's not really that good at competing, the HC market, which it seems to be doing with the NX.

The post-generational legs of the PS devices will make that impossible. The market has shrunk too much.

No maybe around 66m unless Nintendo release some big shit next year and a price drop.
