Again, what were you expecting for 2015?  It was obvious by that time that the Wii U was a dying system, and so nobody could've expected Nintendo to pour even more resources into it when they had already all but confirmed they were giving up on it in favor of its successor.

You don't need to invest a AAA budget into something to make it good; see Captain Toad Treasure Tracker or Splatoon. They could still have supplied Wii U with good games without investing a great deal of resources.

The issue with Mario Tennis and Amiibo Festival wasn't that they weren't AAA, it's that they were shit.

You're supposed to pull the plug on your current system once it's replaced, not a year beforehand. Having nothing new of quality to show 18 months before your next system is unacceptable.

No one is going to be surprised? Or just a small portion of people on the internet. Even then there are still some who are in denial  (who dont think in an economical sense) that cannot believe Nintendo would launch the NX so soon. I've spoken to them, hence why I am saying this. It will be a surprise for many and and a prospect for the well prepared.

As I said, no one should be. E3 2015 made things pretty clear, they even said first thing that NX will be highlighted next year, so if anyone is surprised that's their own fault. I wanna think most Nintendo fans saw E3 2015, so there shouldn't be many who're shocked.
