I don't think so, but then again, nobody expected the first one to be so huge so the sequel could surprise us too. It should be able to make $1bn easily but making a billion dollars isn't special anymore...

The first one had crazy legs so even if the second one starts out kinda slow it will probably end up making a lot of money.

I don't think people expected the biggest movie of all time but there was definitely tremendous hype for the film that was advertised to "Change the way we see movies, forever".
