It would be like adding games , but instead you get to add consoles. It would have almost every console and would also have a pic of the console. I would really like this. Would anybody else?

I think it would be neat. Mostly because I will buy games for consoles I don't own and find it funny to show that off.

Not a good idea in my mind. It's best if ioi adds consoles as he's ready. However, I would like to see every console(at least within reason) have it's own place in the DB eventually.

Besides, most consoles in the DB still have a number of games to be added to them. Although I'd gladly welcome more consoles added by ioi at any time, I think we can make a good case for more when we have the existing consoles filled out.

Personally, I think the Atari 2600 should be the next console added. It was the premier video game console before the NES, and it had a number of popular titles. I've come across sales numbers for a few notable 2600 games(Pac-Man, ET) without even looking for them.

Sure to add Atari Jaguar but how many are really left that are left out? I'd like to see an edit game name feature along with a submit this game or screen shot for deletion feature. Also since vgc doesn't count CE, LE, PE, GE, etc of games they should have alt./secondary box art section on the page and when you click I own this game you can choose which box you have. Just some things i'd like to see over time. Also as for consoles, what does pce and pcfx stand for?

PCFX= Successor to the TG16

I think I somewhat misunderstood sc94597. I thought he meant adding consoles that aren't represented yet into the DB. But yeah, it could be done, but not much point in it since 99.999% of the time if you have Genesis games, you probably have a Genesis console.

ioi could do it himself - I mean, there arn't that many consoles to add so he could do it. Then, us members can add games to it

You guys misunderstood. I meant you say you own that console like you do with games.

I understood. I would like that feature but I don't know wether it would be very useful.
