This is a mistake, we all know Playstation is synonymous with Shovelware. Not doing multiplat console release will kill the fanbase.

Not really. Japanese games sell like shit on Xbox platforms where most play cod and halo and Nintendo fans mostly play Mario and other first party games. 

His only logical choice is ps4/PC. Sales for mgs5 were like 70% or higher in favor of PlayStation platforms opposed to a paltry 20% for Xbox platforms. 

Besides Xbox has plenty of exclusives anyway with tomb raider, halo,forza, gears, fable, quantum break. 

Who is "we"? You and yourself? Sony is the most logical choice, and thus the choice he made.
