They're going to turn it into an annually releasing franchise aren't they?

Why not:

Microsoft has done that with all their IPs

Activision has done that with all their IPs

EA has done that with all their IPs

Ubisoft has done that with all their IPs

Square Enix is doing it

Nintendo is doing it

The only major publisher that hasnt done so is Sony.

Around the Network

Have fun!

You seem to really enjoy posting meme's and pics doctor. Can you prescribe me a good website to find these?

Gaf, Know Your Meme, or I just google it. Many show up on my facebook feed from my dormmates

I look forward to this. I love me all the previous Metal Gear games, but it might be good to see a new team work on the franchise. New controls are my biggest hope.

You're like the second person with a positive outlook in a sea of pessimism. xD

you're right and wrong

there are plenty of young software developers with unutilized talent- yes- but its actually a pretty in-demand job at this point. if you know what you're doing and have some experience in game design a lot of studios would be interested in you

I guess what I'm saying is that the best designers, young or old, sort of will have their pick on where to work. and I seriously doubt the majority would pick Konami at this point. I mean, hell, respected companies like Bethesda keep posting hiring ads

there is too much demand for good people in this industry for Konami to have much luck finding whole new teams after getting rid of so many of their people. they've screwed their video game division

and its not just Kojima, over time Konami has gotten rid of like ALL of their most recognizable and valuable designers for the majority of their series

Nah I don't know. Maybe if no one applies to get hired by Konami I'd say it is true, but it won't be the case.

Konami is also looking in a pool of talent from Japan, maybe the whole world, lot's of opportunities there. The outcome? We will see.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
