After how many deals and how much third party support? I really didn't want to get involved but this has been annoying me for a while now. 1st year, Launches aligned, everyone called Wii U abysmal. Do you want to know something about that? PS4 sold less. Launches aligned 365 days. PS4 sold LESS. Limited edition consoles, a new game almost every week, a limited edition DRAGON QUEST console. Still was below Wii U's abysmal launch year. Wii U had little to no support after it launched and yet for an entire year launches aligned it was ahead of "the beast", the "fastest selling playstation". What I'm amazed with is withthe little support the Wii U has and with its terrible performance how it managed to do better than the PS4 in its first year. I could bring up a lot more but I'm done with this convo.

You need to look at the facts.
Launches aligned the Wii U had 2 holidays in the first 12 months vs 1 for the ps4. It's not a fair comparison.
But even despite that the ps4 is ahead now launches aligned even with 1 holiday less.
The ps4 is doing a lot better than the Wii U and the launch aligned gap will grow a lot in 2016.
And in terms of support the Wii U has had much bigger exclusives than the ps4. It shares most of its games with the psv and ps3.
The biggest actual exclusive was bloodborne. Wii U has had a lot more exclusives bigger than that. That's why it's obvious the ps4 has a bright future and the Wii U doesn't.

2 holidays... sure sure, the same 365 days that both had are 2 holidays. I swear everytime I hear 2 holidays I gag. Want to know something? Launching in December does not equal 2 holidays. It means during its launch it missed out on half of the holiday season and got that half at the end of its first year. PS4 got its 1 holiday season launches aligned like the Wii U. Let's not try to talk any nonsense about 2 holidays.
And now for your support theory. Yes Wii U had bigger exclusives however it had little to no support what so ever after launch while the ps4 was bombarded with games almost every week. I'm not sure if you realize this but every game helps and chances are a lot of small titles whether they are shared between consoles or not will push the sales of the console more than 1 or 2 big games. Then again, that wasn't the only thing the PS4 had going for it right? I mean it had all those deals and limited edition consoles along with quite the number of bundles.
And again you're changing the topic with the bight future thing. No one is talking about how great it looks for PS4. Looking at cold hard facts as you like to say it is clear that Wii U had an absolutely horrendous start and the "all mighty" PS4 still did worse, with limited edition consoles and a full holiday season. But yes please keep saying 2 holidays.
Launches aligned 365 days will always be fair my friend. They had the exact same amount of time and went through the exact time period.
