I wouldn't doubt if Bayonetta won the ballot overall. Maybe the people who wanted her weren't as loud as the ones who wanted Shovel Knight, Shantae, or K. Rool

OT: I voted for Bayonetta in the Smash Ballot, so I'm extremely happy to see that she's the one that won. Can't wait to play as her in February!

Yeah, I was with you there.
When I saw Pit and Palutena talking, I thought it was a Kid Icarus character.
When I heard another female voice, I thought. "Medusa???"
Then I see the Umbra Witch herself, and I squealled like a little girl!! XD

I voted for her. That would be maybe the only way I could spent some money in a character. I think it was a very importan addition to Nintendo's family this year, so it seems fit to me that she could kick some asses on this gen's Smash. She's a really different character, and I think they nailed her moves.

Honestly, I had my doubts but nice to see her included

I didn't even remember Snake's absence after watching that direct. It didn't disappoint. Somehow, I didn't see that final reveal coming. Even when the trailer started, I was brainstorming and she didn't even come to my mind. I like how all the new characters have unique play styles, even after so many character. The only repetitive thing is the final smash for the swordsmen. Most are very similar.
Smash is my best multiplayer game of all time and it just got better. I'm only disappointed they didn't announce a single price to purchase all DLC at one go.
