With so many pricecuts, special discounts and news of new systems, I've been wondering how much the lowest price this generation's hardware is going to be? And why? No special offers, no discounts or bundles, no holyday deals. The base price for the standar package. Also, how much time is going to take to reach that point? When will they get the lowest price?
PS4: The long lifespam of the PS devices makes me think of a PS4 slim model that coud reach 150€ in four or five years. This gen might be both longer and shorter for PS devices, so they will keep the price above 200€ until the next system arives.
XBone: Similar to the PS4, but it will reach it sooner, maybe two years before.
WiiU: It may go below 200€ next year or the one after that, considering the NX is around the corner, but Nintendo doesn't want to loose money on the WiiU. Both PS4 and XBone will end up being cheaper than the WiiU.
3DS family (N3DS XL; N3DS, 3DS XL, regular 3DS, 2DS): It will be replaced in one year or two. The 2DS model could reach 50€ at its lowest, and the N3DS XL will remain 200-150€. I don't see models of the regular 3DS and 3DS XL in stores anymore.
PS Vita family (regular PS Vita, PS TV): I could see the Vita going for 100€ next year. I already see 250€ bundles with five games. However, no standalone 100€ Vita package, all bundles. Vita TV could reach 20€ if Sony sells it alongside the PS4.
