And all that means what? Not trying to be funny but Mediocore developers can become great and great developers can become mediocre. From what I have seen and read about Horizon it looks like it is heading in a great direction. Zelda will be well....Zelda. Whether it is good or bad has yet to be seen....not much has been seen of the game. So time will tell how it turns out.

I will just say this...I think Horizon will surpise many people just like KZ2(91) did. Heck even KZ3 was at an 84 both scores nowhere near mediocre....so it is not as unlikely as many would want to think.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Zelda beats it on all 3.
Almost definitely it'll get a better metacritic. Zelda is always 90+
Graphics: Horizon will be technically more impressive. But that first Zelda trailer looked incredible. They really get so much out of an art style.
Sales: Depends if there's an NX version. If there IS, definitely Zelda will win. It might win even if not. I think it might sell about 2.5 million on the Wii U. That's more than most new IPs ever do.

The BEST KZ game (KZ2) is on 91, the WORST big 3d Zelda Game (Skyward Sword) is at 93. Just saying.

Touche....but things haven't really be going according to history lately. Me personally I hope BOTH games score and sell very well.

That considering SS required the motion plus, came to late on the gen and it was SD on the Wii. Althought, the new one is open world in a gen flood of open world games.
Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever
Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe
Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor
Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Zelda will get more passes being a beloved franchise regardless of mediocrity. Horizon will be treated like Second Son and be nitpicked to hell. Either way, barring terrible game play, Zero Dawn should give plenty of hours of fun.
Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)
I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/ hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.
In terms of sales, Horizon for obvious reasons. In terms of quality and review scores, gonna be a close one I think. As for which is the better game...two things to bring up here.
Personal taste as they seem different enough to warrent this factor is one. The other is that we have not seen enough of either game to judge this even semi accurately. That said any vote would be more on the side of brand loyalty and hopes rather than solid analysis.
Just my two rubies...
