with all due respect i thisnk that's a cop out excuse. We havent gotten an original Mario Tennis console game since the GC. That was eleven years ago and THAT game had more to it than the current one. So no they do not deserve credit for making a worse game than the one they did more than a decade ago.

N64 version is also superior and that was like 20 years ago. That's the main reason why, despite it not being technically flawed, I can only refer to it as Ultra Trash.

I have not played Mario Tennis (and have no interest in doing so) but in spite of it being a disgusting proposition value-wise with so little content, I doubt it runs like a polio sufferer, looks like a boiled turd, and controls like a pregnant hippopotamus like Devil's Third does.

In the interest of full disclosure, I only played the first level of DT, (I couldn't stomach any more) but after watching the rest of the game on youtube, it doesn't look like it gets better.

Mario Tennis and Amiibo Festival being rubbish as well doesn't earn DT a free pass.

I just ignore all these games all together.

They're all poorly received, and they have no unique qualities that actually interest me.

I dont understand the hate either, espacially from nintendo fans. Why are more games bad for your system? given how low the print run is for devils third in NA that game might becomes very rare on ebay

this is one of the few times we are in total agreement. Havent played the N64 one in a while though
