Should Monolith soft make a open world Star Wars game?

Dont misunderstand me. Why on earth Nintendo use other peoples IP rather developing their own? Look at Horizon Zero Dawn, Mass effect, Halo or No mans sky. These games feature everything you you mentioned. Exotic, lush open world game. You want to play Nitendo excusive alien open world game similar to Xenoblade. There are better options. Everything you mentioned can be in a game even if it is not star wars.

i know, but the reason i ask  is because i freaking love star wars xD and its lore. and lightsabers and that stuff. and i want to be able to walk around in coruscant and its familiar. and it has brand name. so thats why :)

No. It's better for a western dev to handle Star Wars. Theres also no possibility seeing as how ea has the franchise locked

Well the word should could be seen different here. because its definetly not impossible. Example. Should microsoft buy the world. That is ridiclous and impossible. Also i did say you are correct with ''would you like to see maybe would be suited better'' but ''should'' is not wrong in my title. The thing is with the title is that the ''should'' means  ''hey, whats your opinion. Should they do it?'' in your opinion. Thats how the word can be used.

"Should MIcrosoft buy the world?" is statement that we all know doesn't make sense because we're over the age of 12. However the logistis of IP ownership and licensing isn't as obvious to everyone and so its very possible that you may think that Monolith making Star Wars is actually possible in the near future. I've only read about the EA/Starwars deal like twice, so its very possible someone may have missed it. To rephrase, simply putting "should" is going cause people think you see it as a possible outcome, unless its something obviously hypothetical/imaginary "Should I destroy the world tomorrow?".

Anyway, I'm just trying to help you out here. Your Title/OP still reads as you thinking its a real possibility and people will respond as such.

No. Monolith will make SW game feel too much like Japanese style game. I highly doubt most general gaming population in the west would like the game.

I am not saying Monolith intentionally makes game japanese style, but it is something, i believe, comes from their nature to make game Japanese style, just like most other japanese dev

to all those saying west dev, do you not recal SWTOR.

The west already made a mmo and even based on the hugely popular and great games of KOTOR.
Didn't stop the game from being basically crap.

 

and this from BIOWARE. A hugely popular company and who most would say should do it.

Hmm maybe an action rpg using shadow of mordor's combat mechanics with the witcher 3's writing. It should be a multiplatform game though. Maybe use whatever the devs are using in No Man's Sky to create all of those planets but scale it down to just about a dozen planets with plenty to do.
