Forums - Nintendo - Why are Europeans not more supportive for the Wii U?

I think Europe tends not to respond to "cartoony" as well as Japan and North America.

Even Disney is not as big in Europe, a lot of Europeans thumb their nose at Paris Disneyland.

The Wii/DS success I think was largely driven there on the back of more "neutral" Nintendo games like Brain Training and Wii Sports, they would have failed there if they were Mario's Math Lessons and Mario Sports instead. And Nintendo adopted that whole Apple aesthetic with the Wii and DS Lite.

If Nintendo wants the NX to be successful in Europe they are going to have to be conscious of this.
