Not at all. Oot was the first Zelda game with races at all. It established races as a concept for Zelda wholesale, so it doesn't count.

And don't anyone bring up the Zora. They were just talking monsters before OoT.

I like the idea of a new race for each game. I'd like to see that future race that built those machines for Skyward Sword!
