So around 200k overtracked?
Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

| Platina said: Nintendo has confirmed that the Wii U sold over 11M since it's launch in 2012 (party) A little overtracked on VGC then |
Saying that wii u has surpassed 11m... Could they mean 11.1m? Likely, yes, like when 3DS was said that it had surpassed 15m in the USA, it was proved that they meant 15.1m based on npd sum up...

No... The impressive thing, is that Nintendo just has the guts to reveal the sales of a low selling console, its home console, defying the possible negative feedback, unlike with another company and its handheld console...

So roughly 200k~ overtracked. That's not good considering its already really low.

Ikr! They had to combine it qith the PSP and the PS3! And not even software sales! Especially how most Vita users buy games digitally which VGC can't track.

That's because that other console which is actually still ahead of the Wii U is never getting a successor. That other company aka Sony have zero titles in development for it and they'll only continue to support it with 3Rd party content in Japan for a few more years for the profits.
Nintendo I imagine want to try and pull off another Wii next gen so they are trying to stay relevant. Apples and oranges tak San.

Has it not surpassed 11.2m on Vgchartz too?
A year longer on the market, and sold 3 times less than PS4, and two times less than XBox One...
Hourray? I guess?
Correction: This article originally said that Wii U’s unit sales surpassed 11 million, but that’s not accurate. Nintendo has actually sold 11 million Amiibo figures in the U.S. I apologize for the error.
