Forums - Nintendo - A Donkey Kong RPG?

I just want Super Mario RPG on Wii U... And a sequel. DK RPG, if just like SM RPG, I would be super happy with.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

Wouldn't really like a Donkey Kong RPG. Don't see a need for Nintendo to go there really. But as BasilZero said, I'd like to see a Kirby RPG as well. It has so much potential.

Eh, I'd say Kirby is more deserving of an RPG spinoff than any other Nintendo series that hasn't gotten one yet.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I 100% agree with this

If they make one they had better only talk in their gibberish and without any subtitles. That way it's just like the Star Wars Christmas Special

Not really a fan of Donkey Kong myself, but an RPG would be interesting, though I would definitely be more interested in Kirby RPG or something

My question is why would they?

Nintendo these days doesn't even treat the Mario RPG franchises they do have as well as they should, what would a DK RPG accomplish other then potentially having all the long missing side kicks return as either playable characters or cameos?

I'd rather another good DK game with more side kicks as playable.

I would play one... I love the DKC platformers, but if they did a Donkey kong RPG (like the super mario rpg of old), man that would be pretty sweet.

I think that Donkey Kong is too action oriented to become an RPG. Of course, they could do something like the Mario & Luigi RPG series, but I would rather just see another 2D platformer!
