Forums - Nintendo - Fatal Frame 5 one of the best looking games on the Wii U? Best looking KoeiTecmo game

yeah its better, the textures are made with blue ray and the wetness effects man

This post makes me suspect OP is sarcastic, though it is hard to tell online, especially for me.

To answer seriously though, I personally don't agree its one of the best looking Wii U games.

I do very much enjoy its eerie, desolate art direction with its strong Shinto influences, but texture quality is a mixed bag. The shaders used for wet skin and clothing are nicely done though.

No, he literally thinks that ...

I thought textures were made by artists, not disc formats but what do I know ?

Have you seen Ni-Oh?

Nah, there are far better looking games on ps3/xb360.

yes its true, so more space you have on a disc so higher the texture quality is, which can be stored more. In FF5 it is better than in any 7th gen game espacially than on 360, maybe some PS3 exclsuives can compete.

Sony educated us since 2006 and its true

what are the many Wii U games you think look better?

Where didnt you read? i said ps3 exclusives, most multiplats were made for DVDs and Xbox 360 architecture.

but someof them did run better on PS3, they had better textures or real 1080p FMVs like with FF13.

And I have a feeling those ps3 exclusives looks amazing because of the specs than anything else.  Due to the difficulty of porting games from xb360 to ps3 early in the gen, developers changed their way of dealing with ps3.  Instead of porting from xb360 to ps3, they started doing it the other way around and even then xb360 manage to win most cases though the difference wasn't as big as the early games.  In short, the only thing that blu ray brought to the table were eliminating he need of multiple discs as well as create games like MGS4 that had hour and hours of cutscenes.

FF13 as far as I know, only the cutscenes were 1080p plus it started as a ps3 exclusive which means they didn't give the proper time for the 360 version.

I understand you like the game but c'mon! Even launch games like Ninja Gaiden 3 and Arkham City looked better!
