Funny how every game that Microsoft got marketing Right for, needs patching as if it was done to damage the PS4 reputation or that Microsoft wants the best performing version at launch and PS4 get a shitty port.. I find it interesting when it have been every damn game, heck even unity performed better then ps4 and Pc,Ofc pc version was better but compared to the power available, the Xb1 version was the smoothest

Well tbh.. you shouldn't have expected anything different from Fallout 4. Bethesda and microsoft are in bed together, and have been since last gen.

The interesting part isn't that every Microsoft-marketing game ran worse on PS4. It's that the ONLY games that run worse on PS4 are Microsoft-marketing games. This has become a clear and present business practice in Microsoft's bid to acquire marketing rights on high profile games.

Watch me stream games and hunt trophies on my Twitch channel!

In an alternative universe these updates should have been in the disk packaging AKA these were never needed. Its a pity how people get "excited" over these. As if these are bonus; whereas these shouldnt be norm.

Its probably more a case of the developers trying to appease their marketing overlords -- and giving more attention to the XB1 version.

What on earth are you talking about?  These same issues are on every version, including PC.

On topic, relative to the PC patch that just came out, it does break many mods.  Not texture replacements, those are still there, but mods that add functions.  I was reading about one guy who used a mod to get around the settlement limit; when he started up the game after the patch, he found out that all his post-mod settlement additions were gone.  Ouch.  That must have been a horrible feeling.  However, there are workarounds and he was able to revert back using those and a save file from when they were in place.

Of course, mods right now are using unsanctioned methods since the offcial mod kit isn't out yet.  That's why I've been using on a select few low-impact mods (mainly retextures) and one performance improvement mod.

Just wanted to add that while the latest update has broken some mods, that isn't to say they will be broken forever =P. (not arguing against what you said btw).

Also found this recently:

And then of course we have YT user Brodual for Skyrim/Fallout 4 mods weekly:

Edit: Forgot to add this too:

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I have not had much in the way of frame rate issues on the ps4, I use a hybrid drive so that maybe part of it.

My frame rate dropped to 1 fps last night for a minute before slowly speeding up again. Dunno if that was a side effect from the patch yet it hasn't happened before. It started in Vats, fighting a couple super mutants outside, nothing strenuous.

And somehow one of my settlements ended up with 38 settlers, not just reported wrong in the pip boy, they were actually all there. Quite a crowd.

Were you able to get 100% happiness? That would be quite the feat.

No, that's still elusive with all the amenities (all shops, 2 clinics), an overload of water, food and defenses. Somehow it won't go past 83. Oh, in the one with 38 settlers happiness was down to 31%, having to share 11 beds and 2 water pumps :)

Why so down people, not happy to find your long lost twin or triplet!
