I could easily see how one's preferences could lean you either way.

FF has been dead to me since 7. I don't care about KH. I want to like DQ but don't. I hated TR2013 but will possibly give RoTTR a shot down the line.

Hitman is a probable buy for me.
Deus Ex is perhaps my most anticipated game in the near future.

Nintendo's 1st party stuff is usually good to great.

It all comes down to preferences I guess. For me Deus Ex alone is worth more to me than all the Marios/Zeldas/Karts/etc. Not that I think they're bad by any means, they are usually deserved ~90+ titles.

If forced to only game one one of them the obvious choice would be Se games.

Se has through years of delays and fuck ups has now amassed an unbelievable future library.

Nintendo: Star Fox Zero, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zelda Twilight Princess HD texture port, Zelda Wii U

 

 

If one single third party developer alone has more great games then nintendo, is there really still a place for a nintendo console?

 

It also looks like SE has alot more big studios to work on great big games.

Are you sure thats all Ninty has coming in the future? Try alittle harder next time and actually act unbias.

I cannot even believe this is been argued ... 

While SE is bringing in flagship console JRPG titles like the PS2 days yet somehow some people here are fervently dead defending Nintendo/downplaying SE despite the fact that Nintendo is currently having massive issues delivering high end games ...

2016 Lineup wise, Square Enix definitely is better as there aren't many big Nintendo releases for 2016..

May change during E3, but Square Enix has the better lineup

Nintendo typically announces games much later in development than Square Enix does. Titles like Super Mario 3D Land/World, NSMB2, Mario Kart 8, Pokemon X/Y, DKC: Tropical Freeze, Mario & Luigi 4/5, Kirby Triple Deluxe, and the various Zelda remakes were announced less than a year before release. FFXV was announced (under a different name) nearly a decade ago.

You... do realise that Ni no kuni 2 is by Level 5 and published by Bandai Namco, Valkyria Chronicles is by Sega, and FF 7 Remake is by Square Enix, right? The others you listed are by Square Enix/Platinum Games, Square Enix/Tokyo RPG Factory, Square Enix/Tri-Ace, and Atlus. The list was games MADE BY SONY. Not games exclusive to PS4.
