100k in the west on Steam. It did less than that on PS4.

Do you have a source for less then 100k on PS4 retail + digital?  You know since you're comparing it to digital numbes on Steam.

There's a bit of assumption, but the NPD first month of Tales of Zestiria PS3+PS4 was 58k

http://neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=185621882#post185621882

Europe likely won't compensate the gap. And it's PS3+PS4, versus Steam only.

I don't want to be that guy but here I go:

"Hey guys let's compare Tales of Zesteria sales between the ps platform and steam but for the ps platform japan doesn't count because reason, europe also don't count because reason and digital sales for the playstastion platform are to be ignored"

No, just no the game sold 5-6 times more on the playstastion platform than on steam but it still sold great on steam so be happy with that.

Oh please, everyone obviously know that the game sold more on Japanese, I'm only trying to compare the sales between West on console and Steam, 'cause Steam is obviously used by westerns people, and not japanese.

I don't have charts for Europe, if you have please link them instead of just pretending I'm hiding them. Same applies to digital sales.

I'm comparing with what I have. Look, I've just said that on Steam the game sold about 100k copies, and we know that in USA it sold 58k in PS3+PS4. And since the USA is a way bigger market than Europe, it has most likely sold less on Europe and so has probably not reached 100k or is just ahead of it.

I really don't know what's so confusing with that.

so you compare the sales of a game from 15 10 million ps4 owner to 125 million steam user? That isn't fair, really, just be happy that the game sold good, not nearly as good like on playstation but still good to get more tales of games.

I don't care about how many peoples own a PS4 or a steam user. I compare them because that mean that JRPG sell as much on western PS4 as on Steam. At least for Tales of Zestiria.

Is Japan under a ban that prohibits Steam to be used there?

And what matter is total sales... you try to justify sales by only looking at USA (and saying Europe is smaller... they have almost the same size of market and possibly more found of JRPG than USA) retail to say PC is close... that is crazy.

I guess it's more important that it supposedly sold 100k on PC than some millins on PS
