I can understand SFV being PS4 only, but Tekken 7 and KoF 14 also? That's kinda lame for XBO fans... : /

You obviously weren't around during the PS2 days lol

I was actually. Been around since the NES days x ) Also had a PS2 with my own set of favorites on the system. : D

Then you shouldn't be that shocked about a few fighters being exclusive. Back then, PS2 had a lock on almost every big AAA games that came out. These days, it's much, much better.

Capcom needed someone to help them make it. They can't afford much right now. Same reason why Dead Rising was an xbox exclusive (although not as popular as SF). If Microsoft wanted to fund their own version they probably can, but they rather invest into Killer Instinct. I think Microsoft however needs to start being the beast they are and buy out big name franchises more often personally. I don't expect them to buy out everything, but games like Titan Fall should should be bought out by them for sure.

Why? All multiplats sell better on other platforms.  it makes no sense on the developers end to want to be purchased by MS.  If anything, it would make sense to be exclusive to the largest fanbase available - either PC or PS4.

In fact, the only way Microsoft deserves to have exclusive titles at this point are if they develop them themselves.  The latest 3rd party exclusive in Tomb Raider had piss poor launch sales that would normally not be enough to sustain that kind of developer.  It's a loss for the developer, it's a loss for MS, it's a loss for the publisher.... literally the only winner here are the miniscule amount of players that bought it.

Because Microsoft wants more AAA big exclusive games. Titan Fall can easily become a yearly series like COD that pushes xbox one sales. Microsoft Xbox One is doing fine right now, but they definantly want to do better. They want Xbox in everyones living room. Titan Fall can be the gears of war in terms of sales for xbox one.

If they want an X1 in everyone's living room then they need to earn/deserve it.  The people have and will continue to vote with their wallet.  Since gamers are, relative to other industries, FAR more aware of the products they buy, I'm confident that MS would have better sales if their public perception wasn't utter crap world wide except two territories. I have yet to see a positive contribution by them toward a gaming future that benefits me more, not less.

Achievements, Online multiplayer becoming big on consoles, Western games taking over the industry, multi media in software like netflix,New and cool exciting UI overhauls, hard drives, using pc architecture to ease game development,  ect..... Sorry, but these are huge acievements in my opinion and they will have cloud technology to push boundaries in gaming soon. Also, this earn/deserve is very opinion base and dumb. Microsoft is starting to realize that they should'nt play by everyone's rules. When you play by everyone's rules you typically lose. Thats why they are taking this industry by force. Minecraft and Gears of war isn't small potatos ips.

I'm not shocked really, just feel it's not great that Tekken and KoF have to only be with the PS4. I don't think it has to be this way.

I'm pretty sure a new SC is in development. They even made a poll to determine wich characters people want. I think this time they wont make the mistakes they did with SCV.

For me, its amazing how often developers forget that the roster is super important in a fighting game. People get attached to the characters, you can't just ditch half of it and expect the next game to be loved. Especially if the replacements aren't on the same level.

I feel like MKX is making the same mistake, trolling its costumers, having a roster half made up of cliche characters and guest characters while ignoring fan favorites. I even deleted the game before they announced the new kombat pack, and now that its announced i feel like my decision was the correct one. I mean... who the heck asked for Jason and leatherface? Bo'rai'cho? When theres so many cool and loved characters that got shafted. Its lame.

Every character should be in, especially Pyrrha... otherwise, there'll be hell to pay...

there might be hell to pay (not really)

Honestly if your defense is Latin America which has a greater chance of a study internet then many places PS4 is that Xbox One isn't, I think we can stop there. The chart makes it obvious, your arguments are just looking silly at this point. Also I suggest you re-read the chart.

There is absolutely no sources that say Xbox One has a higher digital rate; however there are plenty of sources that dispute that. The information can also be derived from the chart as well. Your word means nothing. Show some facts for a change.

I have provided points and your only refutation has been the damned chart. You have also ignored my points that Xbox digital revenue is very low outside of holidays.

The onus of providing the information is on you. I have already provided you with very well known facts (no sales outside of holidays) that any random schmoo can provide you with and vouch for. It's you who has to prove me wrong by providing information that suits the particularities of the console. But I doubt you own one yourself...

You can look up the Latin American sales lead, and unless the PS4 is selling huge numbers in SEA outside the developed countries out there, that means the bulk of the developing world is Xbox territory...

Sorry guy but i need to Disagree with You, Xbox One, is only leading on Mexico, on Brazil (Where i live) and on Argentina, the numbers are in Favor for Playstation 4, also  as a Citzen of one of the 2 Biggest Video Game Markets in Latin America, i have to say that the Numbers Microsoft, Claim are "Official Numbers" While in Brazil, the most numbers of Consoles Sold came From Paraguai, USA, United Kingdom, just to you Know the Official Price of Playstation 4, on Brazil was 1800US$ In Launch, and the Xbox One, official Price was 1200US$ with Kinect, after that it dropped to 800US$ Without Kinect, just in the Last Month the Playstation 4's Official price on Brazil, dropped to 650US$ and Xbox one, Raised to 625US$ after sereval drops of the Price.

The numbers that Microsoft, claim are 2014 Numbers, while the Playstation 4, was Really more than 1800US$ in the Official Market, while you could buy a new Playstation 4 for over 600US$ on Several Non-official sources, the Xbox One, was 1200US$ With Kinect, and was possible to find for 750-850US$ in some Places.

Got it ? you cannot use Official Sources to Claim Sales on Brazil (one of the 2 Biggest markets in Latin America) because from Both Sides  the most number of Sales are Via Un-official Sources, the Playstation 4, was more because you could find the Console for 1/3 of the Official Price on Any other place that purchased it from USA, or United Kingdom, I know what are the Most Popular Consoles and Playstation 4, is undoubtedly the Most Popular console on Brazil, he is in Every Youtuber's Standart Console Video, and there Really dont have Any Youtuber Playing Multiplataform games on Xbox One, even the Small ones dont Play on Xbox One, Also in Brazil, Not a Single person know the Xbox's Exclusives, this is either the same with Playstation, to tell the Truth some people dont even know that Consoles have Exclusive Games, here on Brazil.

The Major Market Plays Fifa, and GTA, and those games are associated with Playstation's Brand,  so when someone think in getting one of those Games they get it on Playstation, instead of Xbox One, because they think that this will run Better on Playstation, also the Casual ones only Play Fifa, and GTA (the most popular franchises over there) on Playstation 4, this means that if you want to Play with your Friends Online, you must buy the Playstation Version, that after Several Generations, here on Brazil the Playstation Brand is constantly associated with Quality,  Any Casual Gamers, and the Parents that dont Play Video Game, only Know the Playstation's Brand, because of that most of then Buy Playstation.

also on the 2000's there Had a boy that Give Away Playstations, for Free in a Television Show, he had Also a Song that Still Popular nowdays, they Released this Song again and in less than 1 Month Reached more than 2.3 Millions of Views, this Television Show also Broadcast Cartoons, and the Huge number of Parents that had Small Kids Knew the Playstation Brand Because of this Song.

Here is the Song, there is no 1 Person in Brazil, that dont know this Boy, he was in a Television Show, in one of the 2 Biggest Television Companies of Brazil

I'll give them credit for achievements, and introducing the first hard drives to home console. That's about it. Online gaming was also on PS2, was free, and with the way that internet was developing at the time, there's absolutely no chance that online gaming wouldn't have been a big part of the 7th gen. So to that end, on the online multiplayer front, MS made popular charging for an online subscription.  Again that's not a benefit.  They put behind this gold paywall Netflix originally. That's not a benefit, that's basically saying that you have to pay us in order to access this other content that also requires a monthly fee.  Nothing about that is revolutionary. Nada. Zilch. And multimedia features? What do you mean? The PS3 came out the box with media support for pretty much everything and could be turned into a full on Linux based PC. MS did -not- make multi media popular on consoles, they were just riding that wave.  Which was also something that was bound to happen, case in point being the software features available on the PS1, further expanded upon on the PS2 and completely realized on the PS3.

New and exciting UI overhauls? I feel like that's a stretch.  Many people preferred the old 360's blade UI over the NXE. I remember that.  I also know that up until recently, the X1's UI has been a sloppy and sluggish mess - designed by a through and through software company! It's borderline hilarious honestly. That should have been sorted out WELL before launch, not two years after.  And my dude, all that cloud PR talk has been smoke blown up your ass. That talk dates back over two years now and there's still nothing to show for it. Ironically speaking it's actually Sony that is using cloud based technology to allow people to stream full fledged PS3 titles to TVs without the need for a console.  What is MS using the cloud for so far? How have they pioneered or innovated on that front? I'm pretty sure the 'cloud' is just PR speak for dedicated servers lol. Nothing crazy there.
On one last note, MS has never played by anyones rules but their own. That is EXACTLY why they're in the situation they're in in regards to a declining userbase, in regards to lagging 3rd party support, in regards to lagging 1st party support, consumer base retention. This is, 100% on them and the strategy they've employed. If anything Sonys starting to play more by MS rules, not the inverse dude. Timed exclusivity, moneyhatting, paywalls, these are ripped straight out of MS playbook and now Sonys doing all that better. I don't agree with it but it no longer affects me because my console of choice now participates in all that shadyness.

1. Please watch crackdown 3 then come back to me.

2. What declining user base? Xbox hasn't been as popular before. Third party support is still huge. The only third party games Microsoft will be missing out on is what sony/nintendo buys or some niche Japanese  game that may not even be localized which usually doesn't even sell well or score well.

3.Sony had to do third party marketing deals because their first party is making vr crap or indies. These type of things only help out in the short run, but not the long run. The paywall is probably something Sony wanted to do with the PS3, but couldn't get away with it at the time. They probably lost money running all those servers.

Microsoft only went full out for third party games during the 360 era to let people know playstation isn't the only place to play it. Very important for their brand. Now they're building an army of huge AAA exclusives.

The only thing that could sting worse than this, is if they are later announced for NX also, but still not Xbone....
