Yeah, and then we act surprised why the games bombs.

this, and 15 was shown a bunch of times. There were a bunch of trailers when it was still called Versus

The fact that people is asking for more just make them gain the sympathy of their fans when they show it. The fact that people is defending that this Zelda game has not get even a proper trailer is something that amuses me.

Well no main installment Zelda game has bombed so I don't know where you're getting this from..

Skyward Sword was enough underwhelming after the great success of Twilight Princess, in the same console. And, Nintendo admitted that TWW was also underwhelming.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

SS sold 4m while requiring an add on and WW sold almost 5m, far from flopping, TP was a launch title for Wii and was limited in numbers on GC also. All in all these numbers don't support your claim here.

The requiered add on was already on the market, for cheap, alongside the special bundle and the 30M Wii Remotes with Motion Plus sold years before with Wii Sports Resorts. On top of that, TP being a launch game with a 0 installbase while SS had already 80-90M potential costumers. And TWW was far from being a success or NIntendo would have never asked for Twilight Princess.

How many Zelda fans already had a WMP? Are you claiming everyone who bought WSR is part of the Zelda fanbase because that is simply untrue, again it's a flimsy argument you have here, SS required an add on and still went on to sell 4m and for reference Red Steel 2 another game that required the same add only sold around 600k, no matter what spin you try that flat out destroys your claim here, TP didn't require any add on and was one of 3 launch titles, one of which was Red Steel the other was packed with the console. TWW sold around 5m, stop this silly game as these numbers prove your claim wrong.

What criteria are you using to judge "biggest" then?

Hype? World size? Fan following?

By any of these, Zelda U is unlikely to be among the generation's biggest.

Critically acclaimed by reviewers and players as one of the bests game of generation. Like almost any previous 3D Zelda game..

That's not what most people would call "one of the biggest games of the generation".

Hell, World of Goo has one of the highest review averages of last gen and was beloved by players, but few would call it one of last gen's biggest games.

First time I hearing for World Of Goo, what is that!? How that can be one of biggest game of the generation!?

How you can compare that with almost every 3D Zelda game or with Last Of Us from previous gen!?

It's an Indie game on PC and Wiiware from 2008, very good actually: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvySATGlMV0

You said Zelda U had to be critically acclaimed and beloved by gamers to be one of the biggest games of the gen. World of Goo was both.

Truth is, these things don't decide what the biggest games of a generation are; sales do.

How indie game can one of the bigest game of generation when only some people are aware about it!? Evre 3D Zelda game is always bigest game in generation, same will be with Zelda U. You can't compare any Indie game with 3D Zelda.

No, sales don't desire what is one of the biggest game of generation, The Last Of Us is definitely one of the biggest game of previous generation, and its not even in top 20 selling games of previous gen.

Skyward Sword and Majora's Mask were certainly not among the biggest games of their generation. Nor was Wind Waker, really.

If critical reception makes a game "big" then indie titles like World of Goo and Braid were indeed among the biggest last generation. Hell, by that metric Star Wars Pinball on eshop is a bigger game than Splatoon.

Well Zelda U is definatly bigest game in any sense that SS,  MM, WW. Zelda U is first HD true open world with huge world Zelda game, something that fans always wanted, like Nintendo said, it will be "Ultimate Zelda".

Its not just about critical reception and definitely not just about best sales, I already said to you what I consider for one of the biggest game of previous gen, The Last Of Us.
