Hourly, Weekly and Monthly all disagreeing, that is too funny.

I don't know about the hourly rankings, but the disagreement between the current monthly rankings and the current Week 1 rankings are because Cyber Monday was part of Week 1 but not part of December. The current sales week extends from Nov. 30 to today, and Week 2 begins tomorrow (though the final rankings for Week 1 and initial rankings for Week 2 won't show up until like Thursday or Friday as both the weekly and monthly rankings are several days behind the actual current date).

Didn't say they are wrong, just that it's quite funny and would only happen in this kind of unique situation.

Yeah. It is interesting as this is one of those rare years where Cyber Monday is also the last day of the month. Next year Cyber Monday will be on the 28th, and in 2017 it'll be on the 27th and in 2018 it'll be on the 26th, but in 2019 it'll be on Dec. 2. So, we'll have our greatest congruence between the Weekly and Monthly rankings for the first week of December in 2019. It'll be interesting to see how the next three years look for Week 1 of December since the week will actually be split more evenly between November and December.

For certain people will try to use this to dismiss Amazon relevance to predicting NPD winner.

Best buy is having even stronger promos
Their 300 NDC bundle comes with a free copy of taken king
And the COD LE (out of stock on Amazon) is also 50 dollars cheaper than normal (so, 380)

Ps4 did 1.05M last December with nothing much other than a discount on this or that retailer for a few days, and with what looked like slight stock problems too. This December will be huge. They are finally putting into practice Kaz's (over 1 year old) statement of prioritizing market share over HW profit.

That's what the weeklies are for. :)

If I'm not mistaken, NPD's November period always ends the weekend before Cyber Monday. So, CM will always be part of "Week 1" of December for both Amazon and NPD. By using the weekly rankings we can sort for the effects of Cyber Monday on the Amazon charts for November. Each of the four weeks that covered the period from Nov. 2 to Nov. 29 this year had the PS4 ahead plus November as a whole had the PS4 ahead, so it stands to reason that the PS4 won not Amazon for November but also November's NPD. Plus the PS4 had a ton of preorders for the Star Wars & COD bundles.

As far as I know Black Friday is always the last friday of the month of November. And as NPD do 4-4-5 week and don't care about calendar that much (could have like 6 days of November in December first week) or December days on January first week even if its leaping a year. So yes, as you said Cyber Monday will always be part of Week on of December and not necessarily be a calendar december day.

But this kind of bizarre situation may not happen again because of the way the deals were made.
