That's some serious domination.  The question now is how long until Microsoft drop the price again because they're getting slaughtered at parity.  Sony with such a strong first half of the year line up are very unlikely to drop the price and will likely comfortably outsell the x1 at $50 more 

Microsoft has seen that Sony is willing to sell the PS4 for $299. They know that Sony would just price match a $50 price drop. PS4 would maintain price parity, nothing would change regarding sales ratios, but this decision would lower the Xbox divisions profitability. Sony played there cards perfectly to demonstrate this.

Microsoft's best move is to stay where they are, or eat a $100 loss price cut while hoping Sony isn't willing to go that far.

Xbox is dropping pretty hard. I´m interested in seeing if both companies will rush to drop to $299 in January.
In my opinion there´s no need, sales will be very low regardless. I would wait and see february.
Maybe microsoft should drop in january cause they will have a hard time selling with price parity.

Sony will either wait for U4, or, more likely, the release of PSVR, before dropping to 300 for real
So if VR is out like in June, they'll announce the drop at E3

So.... PS4 wins. Again. Its interesting because the Amazon battle was the closest. The other sites had PS4 walk away with the console war.

January will be quiet and February will be modest with Street Fighter 5... shouldn't there be a bundle for that?
