Forums - Gaming Discussion - What monitor are you using? How is it?

I'm using the same monitor I've used for almost a decade, it's a Bravia TV, it does it's job well for its age.

Back then LCDs were pretty expensive, and this was medium tier, it wasn't designed for gaming or pc at all, it doesn't support 1024x768 res. Yet it supports 1080p It is also low in refresh rate, I was mainly gaming on PS3 when I got it and the frame rate on  PS3 games was too horrible to bother with that. Now I mainly game on PC.

Yeah same here. Around when GT prologue got released (you seriously could not play that game on SD, It screws with your eyes)

Currently using the Asus PG278Q as my main monitor. 1440p, 144Hz and G-Sync. It's pretty neat. Will probably never have another monitor without G-Sync again. Haven't seen any non-glowing reviews about it.
I'm also using 2 Dell U2715H as side monitors though I'm thinking of replacing them with another pair of PG278Q so I can try some cool surround stuff.

I do have my Samsung UE65JS9500 connected to my computer but I don't use it for gaming since it's limited to 60fps at 4k without G-Sync. I basically only use it for consoles and anime. Oh and porn of course. Lots and lots of 4k porn.

Are you some kind of drug lord? Those things are expensive as fuck.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

It's just an ASUS 23" monitor I got about 4 years ago.

Works like a champ.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
