I can't tell if he's being serious or sarcastic... the general assumption is that it would be sarcasm, considering he called Bush a 'savior' instead of 'antichrist'

But honestly these days I just can't tell what some people are thinking.

Obama '08. This time we don't have to vote for the lesser of two evils, this time we can actually vote for greatness....

Can you please name a single thing this guy has done to deserve to be called great.  Can you even name any of his policies?

"But introduce in 2000 a saviour, President George W. Bush the greatest leader of our country and he has brought lots of economic prosperity to our country: increased employment, improved living conditions and he has rebuilt the USA singlehandedly after the September 9/11 terrorist attacks."

Hahaha, this part made me laugh the loudest!!!

McCain is going to lose the election no matter who he faces...

I sure as hell am not voting for him! :) (though I might've voted for McClain if he was in there ;-p )

Lol I guess I went a bit to far with that. Anyway you have to love your King George.

Originally the American general election was never about electing the President of the United States. The way the system worked way back was simply this: The general populace voted on elected officials locally and statewide, but the only federal official they could vote on was their congressman. That is why the electoral college was setup in the first place.

Now we have a 2 year long beauty contest that parades on TV and in towns around America. It offends my eyes to be honest. But it would seem that the contest is finally drawing towards a close, at least in selecting the candidates. I will vote McCain simply to stop this country from having a McGovern style lib who has the gift of oratory (or pandering) from ascending to the most powerful seat in the world.

I have my issues with John McCain but at least he hasn't sat under the hate-filled preaching of his pastor for 20 years.

The vast majority of americans cannot name an accomplishment or policy of any of the three remaining candidates.

It's people like you who are spoonfed by the mass media to believe that Obama doesn't actually have any policies or experience.  You probably still believe that Al Gore really said "I invented the internet" during the 2000 election.

As a matter of fact, I investigated the Senate voting record of both Hillary Clinton and Obama (and surprise, Obama's done better in my opinion).  I have researched Obama's past speeches extensively.

This page will get you started: http://www.barackobama.com/issues/

oh and surprise, Hillary has one of those pages too: http://hillaryclinton.com/issues/

This page offers a decent 'summary' on Obama's senate record but is not nearly as indepth as what I looked into, but somehow I doubt you'll have the patience to actually read about the entirety of his record and would rather make blanket statements made popular by the massmedia.  http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/2/21/164117/783/290/461422

Obama has represented Illinois very well.  In the race for the presidential nomination, he has defied conventional politics and built the largest grass roots support movement that we've seen in 50 years.  He has INSPIRED people to action that have never felt anything but cynicism for our government, myself included.  THAT is what greatness is.  Greatness is not merely efficiency in performing rote government function, it is involving people in our democracy and making us feel like we are empowered and we can make a difference in our lives and our government.  After 8 years of feeling helpless and feeling like we're on the verge of tyranny, it is a wonderful feeling.

Go research your candidates and make a vote for who represents you.   I'm going to vote for greatness.

"Senator John McCain hailed as a spiritual adviser an Ohio megachurch pastor who has called upon Christians to wage a "war" against the "false religion" of Islam with the aim of destroying it."

Ok... you were saying?

"President George W. Bush the greatest leader of OUR country "

"I am actually an Australian citizen"

Are you for real?

I like McCain and Obama -- I'm a registered voter who's followed the race and knows the strengths and weaknesses of both candidates. Please don't make ignorant topics like this if this is what you have to say.

Again. You can't sit in the pew of your church and not have this rub off on you in some form. Look at his wife, "For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of America..." Can we say that her statement and her attendence of Trinity United Church are related? DEFINATELY! If she thinks this way, how does Obama think? Remember ALL Politicians are liars.
