      I personally think what I just saw looks pretty damn awesome! I would definitely play a CT remake which looks like that.

Yeah, I def think this would look good as a CT remake, though I think the environments would need to be changed a bit. They feel a bit on the small size. Making the areas more spacious would be good I think.

please hire this guy... and make him remake all the models.... and re-release a true to orginal version now in 3D :)

Looks pretty great. Fortunately, Chrono Trigger has aged like wine and still looks incredible. I mean, the Giga Gaia fight is aesthetically and graphically some of the nicest art I have ever seen. 

Also, this battle was wonderful, epic, and still looks awesome:
