DEMOS!!! Yes, demos! They've gone digital with many I'd these games yet nearly none of them have demos that allow players to try them before making a purchase. For instance, I've not been a fan of Fallout and Elder Scrolls games but I like to try them to see if I'd like them. Instead of paying $60 for the game and end up not liking it it'd be nice if players are allowed 45-60 minutes of gameplay after downloading the game. After the time ends, the player is met with a "Purchase Full Version" screen. There are a slew of games that I'd like to play but some most don't have demos and some don't even have screenshots. What say you?

there is PSnow in the future maybe for PS4

Probably because demos aren't so safe anymore? Perhaps more often than being successful, having the opposite happen, or they just seem kind of pointless at this point?

However, there are still demons around. Quite a bit actually. I've gotten some from Nintendo as well as some other 3rd parties on Ninten platforms. I have played and still have some on my platforms. So, I guess demos are still around, but some companies just don't do them anymore?

I agree. One of the reasons I love the EA Access program on Xbox One is precisely because you do get to try titles (usually for 6-10 hours) before their release. I've heard that demoes sometimes hurt sales, though that's anecdotal as far as I know. I'd love demoes/free trials being standard.

Organization. On all the platforms, is hard to find what you want unless you know exactly what you're looking for. ie when I tried to find inFamous First Light. Had to tour the name in.

Yep. My brother got an Xbox One and I was shocked by the lack of demosa nd general content to jump in without having to actually buy a game.

I mean I understand COD and the like not bothering but there are a lot of games that could probably gain from offering a demo a month or so after launch.

The 3DS has had a decent amount of demos that I've played such as Smash Bros, Tri Force Heroes, Pokemon OR/AS, and Dragon Ball: Extreme Butoden. But, apart from that you're pretty much right, I don't think I've seen a demo on any other console(although I'm pretty sure the Wii U has some as well).

I wonder if Twitch has somewhat replaced demos.

When I want to know if I'll like a game I pop over to twitch and watch someone play for a while.

Yeah I can't believe this is missing, a win-win situation surely.

Only thing I can think of is that Sony/MS don't want GTA being gifted to ten year old, parents find out and get rid of the console maybe.
