I AM SICK of lag!!! Yes I do admit it'll NEVER go away, but when it lags alot to a point where you don't even see 1 frame per second ITS EMBARRASSING FOR THE WHOLE GAME. Everytime I play Super Smash Bros for Wii U ITS LAG EVERYWHERE. I know you'll say "It's your connection, get better wifi" THATS NOT THE CASE. Mario Kart  8, Splatoon, GTA V, Little Big Planet and other games runs good online!!  The solution is simple... Make EVERY video game that offers Online Multiplayer go through a Lag Test. Lag will always be around but this Lag test should determine if the game is still playable! Lag embarrasses Super Smash Bros ALOT also embarrasses the gamers as well. I don't care if Smash Bros 5 doesn't pass the test. Lag ruins the whole Smash experience and shouldn't be lagging like it's being run on a toaster! This game DOES NOT deserve to be a 90 score, it deserve a 7. If hear an article about Smash 5 being denied from releasing because of its traditional lag problem and they would have to work more on the game to fix the lag problem.... THAT WOULD BE HEAVEN!!!!

Smash is peer to peer, so if your opponent is halfway across the world it will be laggy.

DO NOT USE WIFI FOR ONLINE GAMING.....

Ethernet cables and power line adapters are your friends. You do note hate your friends.... Do you?

Peer to Peer networks..... Wish that would die out especially in AAA games

This.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Yes, every company should install ping testers in millions of homes world wide to test the game before launch. They also should monitor all ISPs to make sure the path to their servers is always the shortest one and that all their traffic gets priority queued.

It's so simple but the companies are so lazy that they don't wanna do it.
