100% agree with this, if it aint made for "gamerz" then it sux. My daughter would absolutely love this, and I would probably get it for her eventually. God forbid that children are allowed to enjoy a game aimed toward them.

Suddenly any game aimed at children is automatically a high quality game? This game was compared to a standard of party games and animal crossing game (games for families and kids) and was found to be bad. It's not like the reviewers are saying "you know, I found that the quickscoping and wall riding in this game bad ... 2/10..."

None of us said it was a high quality game, but merely pointing out that this game is not aimed toward people that visit forums like this. Personally I think it is obviously a means to sell Amiibo and Amiibo cards, and fair play to Nintendo if they make a boat load of cash out of it.

Low scores as expected.. :p

Fair play to Nintendo sure, but then they have to accept low review scores from reviewers that see this as the true intent

I don't even know why this game exists.

The "Is for kid" excuse does not work for this one at all. A lot of games on WiiU can be played by kids and they are not awfull, Yoshi's Woolly World comes to my mind as a perfect exemple of a charming beautifull game with a flexible difficulty that can be highly appealing and enjoyed for kids, and that game is quite good.

The kid thing does hold true with me though. This game is bright, inoffensive, can be played by any skill level, and is text heavy therefore helping my daughter improve her reading skills. I couldn't think of anything worse than a farm or rollercoaster simulator, but wont bitch about them because I know I am not the demograph these games are aimed at, and its the same with kids games.

It's funny how we as gamers forget that some games are made strictly for children. I'm not buying it but my Daughter wants it because she is 10.

#GameJouralismIsTheWorst

Kids games ≠ shitty games.

You know what I played as a child? Super Mario Bros 3,
Punch Out, Bubble Bobble, Mario Kart, Super Mario World, Turtles in Time, Megaman, etc.

My friends kid enjoys fart jokes immensely, and a game filled with nothing but characters farting would make him laugh all day. That doesn't mean it deserves high ratings when there are plenty of good games that can be enjoyed by children. He also really enjoys Mario Kart 8, Rayman, Yoshi and Smash Bros, and he's 5 years old.

And yet there are so many kids who would rather play Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto.

To be fair, a professor of mine says it's because of all the violence in the real world, that they've now exposed to, thanks to access to mobile devices and web browsers. Ergo, running over prostitutes, and shouting slurs while mindlessly shooting other people, relieves stress in these kids.

Now you know why I fear for today's generation of children.

if a parent is letting a 7 year old play these games thats bad parenting period. Desensitizing kids to death and morality makes them more negative towards the world and people. It doesnt turn them into criminals but it does make them have unhappier later in their adult life
